Product Photography Prices (UK)

Campbell Photographic can provide digital product/pack shot photography services for use in either web based, online catalogues or higher resolution printed catalogues, packaging or display stands.

We aim to produce images that are not just high quality, but also eye-catching and informative. We can work closely with your own web and print designers, or on our own if you prefer.

A general guide to our pricing is detailed below.

Your product images are supplied in a digital format to suit you, typically JPEG files 'web ready' at 72dpi or 'print ready' at 300dpi. But TIFF, Photoshop PSD or other formats can be provided if you prefer.

We can also produce simple CD based 'web galleries' of your images and can quote for any additional enhancements or processing work that you may want.

Short Notice?

Sometimes we can fit work in with just a few days notice, especially for smaller items and small numbers. We try to accommodate your requirements and provide commercial product photography to fit in with your plans.

Studio Or On Location?

Smaller items can be delivered to our studio, but we're also happy to discuss coming to your factory if you'd prefer location based product photography, or if you need larger items photographed (such as industrial machines).

Pricing for our packshot / small item product photography service is based on number of items, number of shots of each item and the final usage of the images (web and/or print). Collection and return of items will be the client's responsibility.

Our general prices are for smaller items (less than 40cm cubed). If you have specific requirements for large items, just let us know.

Product Photography Prices GUIDE (UK)

For small (individual) item web product photography at Campbell Photographic, there is usually a charge per item photographed.

For on site location work our normal commercial photography rates would apply.

Images (plain background) are supplied on CD (£15) or DVD (£18) in web res (72 dpi) sRGB JPEG (other formats and higher resolution images for print use are available to order)

Images are colour corrected, but otherwise not retouched in any way. Additional bespoke image manipulation (Photoshop or Lightroom) is by prior arrangement and depends on the type of work undertaken. This work is charged on an hourly basis at £55 per hour or part thereof.

For two or more images of the same item we provide a 40% reduction for the subsequent images (eg. for 10-19 rate; the first image of the item would be £27, while subsequent shots of the same item would be £16.20).

A small group of small objects normally counts as "one" item (eg. shot of 5 ball bearings together). For larger groups, please contact us with details.

Volume pricing is based on number of items, and is on a per session basis (i.e. one item photographed each week for ten weeks is charged at ten times the 1 item rate)

For Info

To ensure our quality control, we will only supply images in CMYK format upon receipt of precise ICC profiles and/or conversion details, along with a written specification of the conversion requirements.

Return of items photographed is by collection or at clients expense.

Due to specialist resources sometimes required, please contact us for jewellery rates.
